    TLP modal should not crash when hidden before being shown

    TLP modal crashes when you call modal.hide() before calling modal.show().

    The error looks like this:

    Uncaught DOMException: Node.removeChild: The node to be removed is not a child of this node

    It has been present since 2016 (when we wrote TLP).
