    Update the dev/build environment [mid-March 21]

    Main goals for this session are:

    • getting rid of the npm warning The node binary used for scripts is <...> but npm is using <...> itself.
    • have a better control of the npm version used especially now that now@latest is 7.x which we cannot use yet
    • switching to node 15 if possible
    • updating all the tools most notably Git due to CVE-2021-21300

    Re-opening, I'm not done yet I still need to deal with the "update all the tools section" (binary cache was lagging a bit when I did gerrit #22074 and did non include the fix for CVE-2021-21300)
