    Tuleap provides its own recent version of Git

    Tuleap currently uses Git 2.18 from the SCL. It has been a while since the last upgrade of this package and AFAIK there is nothing plan to get something more recent on CentOS/RHEL 7 (I'm guessing you have CentOS Stream for that...).

    Having the possibility to ship the exact version we wish is an advantage for us because we get a better control on our dependency.
