Follow up to request #39012: I made some assumptions based on my understanding of the nginx documentation without checking nginx source code. I was not correct (and even missed some things in the implementation of my assumptions...). As a result we might still end up with a too small value for the server_names_hash_bucket_size setting preventing nginx to start.
