To introduce this new check we also need to add a new option --disable-domain-name-check to ease automated deployment of Tuleap.

We need this option first in order to not break the CI tests for everyone until the patch implementing the domain name verification is integrated.
I propose the following plan to avoid bothering too much developers:
    1. The new option --disable-domain-name is introduced in the setup.sh but only warns the administrator this option will be introduced in a future Tuleap version.
    2. The Docker image running in the CI to test new Tuleap deployment is updated to use this option
    3. Your patch (gerrit #5251) adding the domain name check is integrated and the Tuleap documentation (deployment guide) is updated to mention the new setup option.

Does it seems fine for you?

    • Status changed from New to Under implementation
    • Platform cleared values: CentOS 6
