    In Tuleap™ 6.10.99.21 when you create a User Story in the Release Backlog, it is no longer possible to select the parent epic consequently the User Story gets linked to Release

    Hi, we are aware of the problem.

    It is not possible to fully restore the old feature before the next release. This is because of the difficulty of having pop-ups layered upon pop-ups.
    One thing we might be able to do is have the dropdown to choose the parent epic but not the ability to create a new one or use a different type of tracker. Would that suit the needs for now?

    In order to be able to create a new parent or choose an artifact that is not an epic, further developments would be needed. Moreover, there would probably be a dependence on art #6277.
