    A regression has been introduced by gerrit #6559. Now, the total_size of the kanban/{id}/(backlog|archive|items) routes is limited by the limit parameter which is not what we want.
    Solving the regression and the original issue is going to result in a large performance drop for these routes since we will need to get all the artifacts and check if the user can see them individually regardless of the limit requested. I'm not sure if it worth the trouble and maybe gerrit #6559 should be reverted if we consider the original state being good enough.
