Given that the project has a "Folder" tracker

  • In artifact "Create" view, in artifact link field, near "select parent" dropdown, there is a "select folder" dropdown that present the folder hierarchy (the complete one, even if some case are not possible)
  • On submit the artifact is created in the given folder

Consistency and error handeling:

  • All errors are checked on backend (ie the user might choose an inconsistent state and will get an error on submit)
  • Same rules applies than in story #9514

What is not possible:

  • It's not possible to place an artifact in a folder from a modale (either Tracker modale or Agile Dasbhoard ones)
