When browsing the tree view in Documents, it's hard for the user to guess what will be the result of a click on a document name. A click can lead to download a file (.zip, .jpg…), open the tree view with a new entry point (folder) or redirect the user to the Document itself (embedded doc, old wiki page). It's even more complex with the new OnlyOffice integration where Office documents are now opened in the browser.

The proposal here is to display an icon, representing the "on click" action when the document name is hovered. This behavior has been part of Figma prototypes related to Documents for about a year now.
