Why

• AgileDashboard is confusing:
  • There are already dashboard for projects, it's were user land when they arrive on a project
  • It's the only Service that actually provide 2 features (One for Scrum/Backlog, One for Kanban)
  • The only feature that is attached to "AgileDashboard" is the "homepage" were there is the "what's hot/what's next" and kanban board
  • Access to "top backlog" is hidden as a button and is almost impossible to find for a new user

Feature removed:

• The "homepage" disappears
• It's no longer possible to customize "Kanban" zone (it was possible to change the name of the pseudo service to "boards" for instance)
• It's no longer possible to customize the "Scrum" zone (it was possible to change the name of the pseudo service to ... "Backlog" for instance)

Migration

• AgileDasbhoard service is disabled in all projects
  • Backlog and Kanban are added in all project
  • If Scrum was used, "Backlog" service is activated
  • If Kanban was used, "Kanban" service is activated
  • During transition period, it's still possible to reactivate AgileDashboard service (that provide the old "home")
• URLs remains valid
  • Despite new services, the old URLs remains usable with "Permanent redirect" (301)
  • For the link to AgileDashboard "homepage"
    • If the service is no longer active, it redirects to project first dashboard (as when one access to project)
    • If the service is reactivated, nothing change
