Error with agiledashboard during Tuleap update

During tuleap update, I have the following error:

    Updating : tuleap-plugin-agiledashboard-1.833-10.2.99.3_1.el6.noarch 10/38
    Error unpacking rpm package tuleap-plugin-agiledashboard-1.833-10.2.99.3_1.el6.noarch
error: unpacking of archive failed on file /usr/share/tuleap/plugins/agiledashboard/www/themes/FlamingParrot/images: cpio: rename

I did many tries within the last few days, and I've always this same error.

Also, during the verification sequence, I have this error:

    Verifying : tuleap-documentation-10.2.99.2-2.noarch 26/38
tuleap-plugin-agiledashboard-1.738-9.17.99.186_1.el6.noarch was supposed to be removed but is not!

I'm not sure whether this is a general problem or if it's specific to my own setup.

Thanks, it looks like the plugin is correctly updated now!

It didn't fixed the original issue I was trying to fix but at least this ticket is fixed and can be closed. Thanks a lot for your prompt feedback!

You might try to remove (or preferably move elsewhere) the folder /usr/share/tuleap/plugins/agiledashboard/www/themes/ and then reinstall the plugin.

I'm not really sure how you ended up in this state.

    Hi,

thanks for the support, but unfortunately it didn't fixed the problem, see the attached log.

Since the root cause doesn't seem obvious to you, I think we'll stop investigating here since we are about to move to TE soon.

    Best Regards,

    Julien

You have a lot of files with a not expected file size and/or checksum files. This should not happen as these files should be under the full control of RPM.

At this stage I can only advise to upgrade to the latest version and force the re-installation of the package if the update does not go well with something like yum reinstall tuleap-plugin-agiledashboard or using a yum transaction:

    yum shell -y <<EOF
    remove tuleap-plugin-agiledashboard
    install tuleap-plugin-agiledashboard
    run
    quit
    EOF

    Hello,

Can you give us the result of this command on your server?

    rpm -V tuleap-plugin-agiledashboard

PS: I'm always executing all the steps described here: http://tuleap-documentation.readthedocs.io/en/latest/installation-guide/update.html
