story #12327 set limits on git-lfs file usage
Summary
site administrator
set limits on git-lfs file usage

I do not end-up with one 10TB file on my FS "because it was possible to do so"

Overview

The goal of this story is to put hard limits on what is accepted as a valid file size platform wide.

Functional requirements

  • Interface in site admin to configure the accepted max file size (512MB by default) + Warning about files bigger than 4GB with windows.
  • File size checking is enforced in batch upload
  • When a file is uploaded, the resulting size must be lower than project quota (be careful, this introduce a dependency on statistics plugin)
