    Bump sodium_compat library to 1.7.0 for a "free" performance boost
    sodium_compat 1.7.0 has been released with performance improvement [0].

    We are a few weeks away to be able to use php-sodium directly but until then, this is an easy way to improve performance with almost no work on our side.
