    Install on CentOS 8 rh-git218-git
    Dear Tuleap Team,
    The Tuleap Community Edition install on CentOS 8 fails due to 'conflicting requests' (see pic in attachment).

    Current State:
    a) CentOS 8 system
    b) native Git 2.27.0 (pic bottom in attachment)
    c) MariaDB 10.3.27 (pic bottom in attachment)
    d) remi-release 8.3-1.el8.remi
    e) baseurl=https://ci.tuleap.net/yum/tuleap/rhel/7/dev/$basearch since '8' is not provided
    f) NO centos-release-scl as it is not needed/available on CentOS 8

    Desired State:
    a) Tuleap installer recognizes native Git
    b) Tuleap installer respects MariaDB as drop-in replacement for MySQL

    Any ideas/hints are very welcome!

    The problem you have WRT mariadb/mysql is a client issue. Tuleap works great with mariadb AFAIK but the Tuleap packages are built with a depdendency on mysql client.

    So you can have a centos8 server with mariadb on it.

    For installation of prod environment on RHEL8/CentOS8 base, there are no solutions ATM. We will bring the support later this year, we are waiting a bit for the whole Stream stuff to decide the path forward.
