    Is there a plan to add kind of intelligent global search where search input field would be residing in navigation bar and would try to find everything that matches given search string, be it artefact, file, wiki, ...

    For the record, it's a tough subject because, to be efficient, it requires an external system (eg. ElasticSearch) but we know that all dependencies to an external system is going to fail at some point (it's why we removed our previous integration with ElasticSearch).
