    Marking an artifact as recently visited can be slow

    A profile of one of our production instance as shown that an excessive amount of time was wasted to mark an artifact as recently visited.

    There is room for improvement, we could delay the cleanup of entries of the recently visited items to a daily task doing the cleanup for all users all at once.
