I’m reaching out to suggest a possible improvement regarding the trackers in Tuleap.

Currently, field dependencies are available but limited to list-type fields. I’d like to propose the ability to conditionally display one or more fields based on the selection of a checkbox.

For example, if the "cost" checkbox is ticked, two fields — "cost" and "cost explanation" — would become visible and editable. This would help enhance form readability, avoid displaying irrelevant fields, and dynamically tailor the interface to the user's needs.

As far as I know, this feature is not currently available, unless the entire tracker was initially built using very specific shared fields.

Do you think such an enhancement could be considered for a future Tuleap release?
