i guess the reason for that ist that ...
1) i created and organized a custom template
2) there i prepared a customized layout with predefined Dashboard widgets
this was the template i choose evertime i create a new project, until the day when the project dashboard dissappears ;-) (time passes and updates were made, i started with Tulea 6.5 and updated each minor version)

so i think tuleap creates custom layout IDs (1-4 are the standard one) each time you create you custom layout for projects.

On my side, I checked on my DB and don't have a layout with ID 7. (I've only default layouts with ids from 1 to 4)
I think that this layout was a custom layout and it was deleted.

i have some updates that may contribute somehow ...

1) i tried to create a Project as i always do (by selecting my own template)
--> The new project has no project dashboard

2) i created a Project based on default template
--> Project Dashboard is there ;-)

3) After checking my template project i noticed a missing project dashboard too. soo maybe this problem was inherit all the time ?!

Look into /var/log/httpd/error_log

which one do you mean? pls give me a path where i can find the right log file.
There are no errors in Browser console.
