    In a given artifact be able to send an email
    When I am in a particular item in a tracker, I would like to be able to send an email with a link to this tracker item to someone in the user list.

    Primarily to notify/remind someone that they have an action to do related to this item.

    Hi,

    You should create a field bound to users (selectbox, multiselectbox or open list), then check the box "Send notifications to selected people" on this particular field. Every time an artifact is updated, an email will be sent to the selected user(s).
