    Group Members are inherited from Project Template when new project is created
    We created a project based on another project. Now it seems, that the User Group members are automatically inherited/copied, although:

    - the project is a private project
    - the users are not even members of the new project

    Hi Yannis, in older versions of Tuleap when I created a project based on another project my template project did not have user groups so I'm not familiar with previous functionality.Is the intended behaviour to copy user from the template project? I understand that the User Groups need to be created due to the fact they could be used in the different services, however, I'm not sure to understand why the users need to be copied as they may not even be members in the newly created project. Thanks

    Hello,

    I reproduce this behaviour.

    The fact that user groups are duplicated is needed to be able to fully duplicate access rights in all the services. Concerning the users, you notice that because in older Tuleap version users were not duplicated in these ugroups ?
