    Tuleap Won't Start anymore

    I tried installing the agile dashboard and cardwall which did install. Then when I went to activate the agile dashboard everything went white!!! Now when I go to Tuleap it will not even load. I tried uninstalling the agile dashboard but that did nothing and tuleap is just a white screen. I fond the error log, what is posted below. It has numerours fatal php errors as well as other errors saying stuff is missing.

    I am worried now I made things worse trying to fix it. All I have tried to do was yum remove tuleap-plugin-agiledashboard and then restart httpd and tuleap services. Please help me asap, my company just hit a wall and we can't get anything done until this is fixed.

    We are using Tuleap 7.6.99.49 which has everything working nicely including the eclipse sync. Connecting to this project and getting this request did work perfectly. This is very strange and really bums me out because we can't get the cardwall or agile planning without the upgrade. At least I can do a successful upgrade and have everything in the browser work fine, but no eclipse.

    I did notice, when I upgrade and/or backdate the server, some of the tools turn off. For example phpMyAdmin and Munin have to be manually turned back on afterwards. Could something else be turned off after the upgrade? Also, I forgot to mention, when I upgraded I used 'yum update' instead of 'yum update tuleap*' because I got a message that nothing needed an update. 'yum update' updated everything and in the console I can see it upgrading tuleap.

    Sigh, unfortunate issues. We will be fine with what we have for now. In the end I think something small went wrong during the install. We are missing other small features too such as the drop-downs/search for adding a person to a project do nothing and selecting a persons profile shows no projects or skills. One day we will do a full re-install with the latest and greatest with our new shorter URL we scored. I bet with a fresh new Tuleap everything will all of a sudden work.

    Just a side note: we do not maintain the eclipse plugin so we cannot guaranty that the plugin will work 100% after upgrades (of either Tuleap or Eclipse FWIW).

    I just gave it a try with Eclipse Luna and Tuleap Mylyn plugin Version: 2.2.0.I20141015-0736 on tuleap.net backlog and everything seems to work (I tested by fetching the agile planning).

    Few question:
    * can you try to access this very tracker (on tuleap.net) with your eclipse installation ?
    * with which version of tuleap do you manage to get the eclipse plugin working ?

    I just reversed and updated again. Tuleap works fine and there were no errors while updating. However eclipse tuleap plugin can't connect anymore. Same issue as before I did the reset. Does the plugin just not work with the most up to date version of tuleap? I'm going to have to reverse again and just stick with it.

    I get this error in eclipse: An error 403 occured while invoking GET /api/v1/trackers/20: Forbidden (source: TrackersResource.class.php:292 at call stage)

    Fortunately with our VPS host, Digital Ocean, all our servers have backup images. I'll just have to hit rewind till before I updated and try again. Should I stop tuleap before the update with 'service tuleap shutdown' as well? Or is it ok for tuleap to be running during the update?

    I would suggest to update tuleap (without forgetting forgeupgrade) and try again.

    Note: when you fetch configuration please use "tail -f /var/log/httpd/error_log" so you will see errors in real time

    OK so that fixed only most of the problems. Now eclipse can't query the configuration through the Tuleap Mylyn plugin. Everything else works, the tasks that were there before can even be updated and changed successfully, just the configuration fails. I get the following error in /var/log/httpd/error_log on the server when I try and update the repository configuration, see below. It is not the whole error log, the same thing just repeats over and over.

    Ohhh, I did follow those exact instructions but only did yum update tuleap*. Totally missed this line:
    '/usr/lib/forgeupgrade/bin/forgeupgrade --config=/etc/codendi/forgeupgrade/config.ini update'

    I was confused as to what forgeupgrade is. For some reason I thought it was an alternative method to just using yum update. Thank you very much, everything is back to normal.

    I forgot to mention I have upgraded the server just with yum upgrade and it upgraded tuleap as well. Looking through all of the bugs I found two others with my same errors but with something else triggering the issue and different side effects. Either way they did an upgrade prior, I tried updating after the problem with installing the agile dashboard.
