    Clicking on a project's homepage (house icon) would yield to this error msg: "The requested URL <site installation>/www/<projectnmae/ was not found on this server." 

    This error has been around for some time. Still on the latest released version.

    It's disabled by default as Tuleap is not designed for project pages hosting and this should only be enabled on platform were you trust people that will upload content within.

    If it's the case, you should edit /etc/httpd/conf.d/codendi_aliases.conf and uncomment the apache configuration block below section:

    Project home pages are in a virtual /www/<group> location
