Not possible to display a date on a card

It is not possible to display a date on a card on the Agile Dashboard, only a reference to it.  Please see attachment.  In the Card Field Semantic, the date field is selected.

Sometimes it may be usefull to display a date as "xxx minutes ago" and sometimes it is desirable to have it as the plain date. I ran into this too.

How about making this an option for each instance of a date field? This could be configured when adding/editing a date field in the "Manage Field Usage" editor.

    Hi Patricia,

I did what you say, or so I think: I went into the Scrum planning, added a story, and modified the Card Field Semantic (Trackers / User Stories / Administration / Manage Semantic) to have two dates displayed in each card, and voilà, here they are. The date & time are displayed as "xxx minutes ago" on the card itself, you're right, but I can clearly hover on it, and the actual date & time are also visible, in full, in the black tooltip (see attached screenshots). Or is there something I misunderstood?

Now, if you want the date displayed on the card, right from the start without any hovering, this is where an additional development would be required, if you think it's important enough.

    Best regards,

Hi Marc, the date field is displayed on a card in the scrum backlog. You cannot hover on the field. You get the handle to move the artifact. To recreate the issue, add a date field to a tracker that is displayed in the backlog. Try to hover on it. Thanks

    Hello Patricia,

The actual date is visible if you hover the reference (say "5 months ago") with the mouse. It has been chosen to display dates this way to ease the understanding of somewhat distant dates. It would be possible to add the possibility for users to express a preference, in the "My Account" page, for example, so that each and every date in the UI is displayed this or that way, but it requires an additional development. If this is important for you, please tell us.

    Best regards,
